i'll probably see you in hell
i always think maybe i’ll run into you again
we live 100 miles apart (unless you’ve died or run away-
i’ll never know and it will drive me insane)
but i don't really know how much a mile is
it took 300 to find you and lose you,
lose myself and find myself
but only 1 to find you again in the memories we left in this town
i’ve found that more of them make you distant,
but less of them don’t bring you closer
so maybe i’ll run into you again
but probably
i’ll just live my whole life wondering
what you would think of me if i ran into you that day-
am i still selfish self-righteous carel
ash and rust repressed in my bones
like wayward swallows yearning for home
fly south for the winter, return for spring
pretend the lost time didn't change a thing
act like rivers suspended their flowing
for you, pretend the trees paused growing
like your slice of time is all that is real
yet each day wrinkles are harder to conceal
each breath you take you die inside
your cells collapse from how hard they tried
to keep you alive you were not meant to be
we borrow the earth until we are free

Years Are Longer Than We Give Them Credit For
look into a slice of time,
think about every beetle that ever crawled by
they’re dead now, where did their corpses end?
green leaves now leaf litter, a detritus blend
i bet our dna is still there intertwined
skin cells, shed remnants of our past lives
our histories froze in mitochondrial memories
dead electricity that once smoldered vividly
think about each person that ever crossed ways
with you as you went about your days
they’re dead now, ever changing, shedding themselves
ever molting, rebuilding new masks and new shells
you’re no more than a movie replayed in my mind
a vignette that fades with the passage of time
in ever

Hi all. This is my 3rd incarnation on dA.
My first included lots of bad Naruto fanart, my second included much better Naruto fanart plus some other things, and this one will be even better things! Hopefully.
Acarri is a misspelling of Acari, the scientific name for mites. (Acari was taken!) I thought it was the prettiest name for some unpretty creatures.
I hope you enjoy my work. Mostly I just need a place to let it out away from people that know me.
